When the evil wizard Simpkin Sowerbutts tries to create a dragon as loyal as a dog, his spell doesn’t go quite as planned. Instead, he creates Dragon Dog, a fluffy dog with the fierce spirit of a dragon. Embarrassed by his creation, the wizard sends Dragon Dog away to fend for himself.

Dragon Dog roams the land of Quatsch looking for a home, defeating anyone who challenges him and becoming feared by nearly everyone he meets. Then he encounters Dandelion, a lost little lamb who isn’t afraid of him at all. As Dragon Dog helps Dandelion find her flock, she helps him discover that being fierce and being fluffy don’t have to be opposites.

From Suzanne Lang and Max Lang, the creators of Grumpy Monkey, this funny fantasy adventure celebrates friendship, courage, belonging, and embracing every part of who you are.
