Grab the bug catcher and head outside to hunt for backyard specimens. Deposit your crickets, pill bugs, ants, ladybugs, or other creepy-crawlies in the Bug Playground and observe their behavior. How do they respond to their new environment? Which bugs get along? Which bugs eat the same things? Are some bugs friendlier than others? Observation and recording are cornerstones of science, and now you can do this in your very own bedroom.
