This, of course, is important for improving overall safety for the facility itself and the employees working there. Many companies will put this type of floor sign down at all intersections throughout the area. In most cases their purpose will be to let drivers of high-lows, forklifts and other vehicles know that they need to be watching out for people or other vehicles coming through. Even if your facility does not use indoor vehicles, however, you can still benefit from this type of floor sign. Letting people know who are walking, carrying objects, pushing carts or anything else can help to encourage them to slow down and take care not to run into each other. This is a very simple and affordable way to improve safety using visual communication in your facility.
